Morphine Prince 109,684
The Internal Revenue Service can’t bring claims against President Donald Trump, his family or businesses for past tax issues, according to additional terms added Tuesday to the settlement the Justice Department reached with Trump to resolve his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS. The additional terms, first reported by Politico, were quietly added in a hyperlink to Monday’s Justice Department press release that contained an agreement to create a nearly $1.8 billion fund to compensate people or organizations that have been “weaponized” by past administrations — a fund widely expected to benefit Trump’s allies, including January 6, 2021, US Capitol rioters. PornoDanceFight 2,089
The normalization of such blatant corruption while everyone I know struggles financially is so maddening. The level of cronyism within the United States really makes me question if any of the values that good, honest people were raised on, were ever worth it. Why do me and my loved ones try so hard to abide by the rules when crooks are literally stealing from my paycheck to bankroll criminals and insurrectionists. Purely rhetorical, but my God, Americans truly are living in a second Gilded Age. I'm so tired. 9

Ladle Ghoulash 53,375
Could still be overturned in court, but as others have said, the levels of blatant corruption are just maddening and insulting. Trump being president not only once, but twice, and not consecutively at that, truly is the reason I gave up on not this country. It's not worth saving. Purely rhetorical, but my God, Americans truly are living in a second Gilded Age. I'm so tired. And this is the US cronyism so many cynical people here glorify I cant tell you how many people I know who trash talk Canada because of cost of living and taxes and always say the US is so much better and cheaper and affordable etc Basically classic case of grass being greener on the other side. They cherry pick the fact average wages are slightly higher and taxes slightly lower but complely ignore the fact people have to spend a lot of health premiums or out of pockets, the fact utilities on average are higher in the US or the fact that safety nets are way weaker Not saying the US doesnt have its advantages or that some people arent better off depending on their individual circumstances (a healthy individual making at least above average income may in fact be better off in most States than in Canada tbh). But crony capitalism has a lot of downsides for a lot of people and the fact that even more Americans live pay check to pay check than Canadians (tho the percentage isnt far off), and the fact that USA life expectancy is so exeptionally poor by developed world standards should say something. It would be amazing if something caused a transportation delay and somehow while stranded somewhere he didnt get his daily medicine and then one of his body guards that secretly hates him just scared him so he would get a heart attack... It could totally happen and no one could prove foul play

If he does soon it will give time for damage control before 2028 I doubt they coukd win 2028 at this point anyway but could affect some seats anyway
