Oriane 23,045
Two popes are on opposites sides of a river. There's no bridge, no boat, the water is deep and they can't swim. How can they cross the river to get together? The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic!

There is‚ in fact‚ also a Pope of Alexandria (Egypt). Before the East-West split in the 11th century‚ hierarchic titles were more descentralized and localized and more than one bishop held Pope ranking within the church system. Thanks for letting me know though.

Apec 448
I'm giggling at the idea of the Pope constantly chilling in Rome proper, being a total tourist, visiting the Trevi Fountain, going to museums and checking out a trendy café every week, instead of being quite restricted living (very lavishly nonetheless, but it's a tiny place if you see it with your own eyes) basically confined to his own sovereign city state - Vatican City in Rome. Unless they let him use the Pope Mobile to visit Rome itself in disguise when he's not needed Sorry, the idea tickled my fancy. Especially BAD disguises (like the Pope Mobile in the first place), wearing all necessary "holy" garments for that day but trying not to sneeze too much because of the fake mustache etc. ETA: Love that first photo and the second, he was probably sweating like a heathen curse word, but he's really flipping that err, wig.
