Huh lmao she planned Coachella for months. Just say you didn’t like the outfit and move on

Yes. why was the mayhem merch pop up at Coachella spiky and bright ass yellow when it could have been orange, red, black, grey even? The Grammy photo as the tour poster felt extremely cheap and looked like it was edited on Picsart. They could have at least pulled an outtake from the album shoot or something. I do think that the tour was kind of winged although I did enjoy it.

Honestly the Mayhem shoot is really not great, so it wasn't easy to use.. but she could have gotten any photographer for a quick shoot, used the Disease or Abra costumes and done something cool ala the Rolling stones photoshoot. But who knows what happened in the backstage of it all since she did say she didn't plan on touring. As for the merch.. god knows what was going on there, especially the use of CLO3D renders for the e-shop images very photoshop is my passion Edited May 19 by princedeeblebleble

I saw it when I went and didn't even bother getting any cause it was overpriced(especially here in Aus) and it all looked cheap and basic. Like I understood the what the show was about but the story itself was kinda lost. Would probably have helped if I was able to see the interludes and maybe hear when she was talking. That’s why after a certain point if you noticed on the tour they started using a darker version of the blonde wig for those sections to show it’s the same character. In fact that wig is actually charcoal where as the Mistresses hair is actually jet black, making it a shade or two lighter. Basically after The Beast, a song that symbolises Gaga’s inner ability to ‘turn on’ her public persona, the light side of her personality begins to dabble in the dark sides ways to essentially have fun- Killah, Zombieboy etc and Million Reasons is when both sides of her finally make peace with each other. It’s an internal dialogue because the song is about “a million reasons to let you go” - it’s about her deciding whether she wants to be Lady Gaga or not and it ends with Bad Romance, when her outfit is both white with red and her hair is black and blonde to symbolise, both sides finally merged together and she’s fused parts of her public persona with her real self enough to be happy with it. Then HBDUWM is basically like an actor in theatre taking their bow to symbolise “hey this is the ACTUAL me” the one we as her fans know and love hence why they do album tracks as a closer because it’s a celebration of us and her. TLDR; the show is about her inner dialogue of whether or not she wants to be her public persona or just herself and walk away from being famous. A thought we know has plagued her since after ARTPOP. But it ends with her deciding to “stay” because she has found a balance and peace. That's basically what I said, I was replying to someone said mistress is darkGa, and except I see dark and blonde like separate characters but both is Gaga more on insta @linus9nuts

But I also couldn’t hear anything she spoke, and none of the interludes were visible. So idk. But I understand the duality theme

But I understand the duality theme It's basically about her public perceived persona vs her fan perceived persona. The Mistress is her public persona and Gaga is her fan persona. It ends with her combining them both because she’s realised they can exist in harmony and she needs both to make her art. Kind of a more easy to understand concept of the BTW video of the “how can I protect something so perfect without evil?” quote. And then at the very end she comes out as herself without makeup in her own clothes.

It still works but I don’t think it’s her most cohesive project sonically. She has said that this album was meant to be eclectic rather than cohesive. It is a representation of her artistic mayhem and the very point of it is that it was not meant to be 'coherent' in a traditional sense.
