Mistress of MAYHEM and Lady in Red same character afaik

MAYHEM Ball only really has two characters (Mistress and EtherealGa) who eventually synthesize into one at the end

The whole point of the transition between The Beast and Killah (probably better illustrated in the tour than Coachella/Copacabana) is that EtherealGa (or the “light” or “innocent” Gaga) is tapping into the Mistress’ dark magic and beginning to play with the fabric of the “gothic dream.”

I was hoping those lyrics teased on her website that went unused were clues/hints/part of an ARG, but I guess they're just more of her zillions of pieces of unreleased material that I might never hear

The second act is called “And She Fell Into a Gothic Dream,” which I interpret as the Mistress banishing EtherealGa into a hellish dreamscape she has to either survive or it will kill her (dance or die). When she overcomes the challenges in that act, she becomes powerful enough where she can begin to manipulate the reality of the Mistress’ dreamscape (sort of like lucid dreaming)

I feel like Mayhem was meant to sound chaotic but sometimes it feels more like a bunch of different styles and influences put together than one clear album vision tbh. It still works but I don’t think it’s her most cohesive project sonically.
