Billie Jean by Michael Jackson has reached #1 on the Global Spotify for the first time, the song took 40 years to reach the top. Michael Jackson tops Justin Bieber since the song dethrones "Beauty and A Beat" by the global superstar, making it a fight over which old song remains at number 1. Michael is also dominating the rest of the top 10, with “Beat It” at #5 and “Human Nature” at #8—just one spot behind his female counterpart, Katy Perry, whose nostalgic hit “The One That Got Away” sits at #7.
