I wanna f*** your mother? lol No, that's part of Nine Inch Nails song lyrics, Closer, "I wanna F U like an Animal!!" Ladle Ghoulash 48,867
As a huge Killah stan, one of the things I thought was kind of a let down on REQUIEM was the lack of a groove. The beat kind of lumbers along and it loses that swagger and sexiness that works so perfectly in the original when juxtaposed with the vulgarity and violence of the song (something which Killah shares with Closer by NIN). That being said, those distorted harmony vocals on the second verse are filthy and perverted in the best possible way, I love that she layered the scream over the whole bridge and the interpolation of Closer in the drums and in the “I wanna fck you like an animal” quote is absolutely sickening. Agreed. I’m an original Killah stan, as well, and I agree. I actually wish that she would have altered the melody for the verses to improve the groove. I think the chorus works with how they changed it up. I also think the hard part listening to it is that the vocals are a little rough in verse one, and then improve radically after that.
