God, I just love that woman so much I was JUST asking myself this morning if he wants her TO BE bad, or if he wants her SO bad.

She actively plays with the ambiguity at the end as well: oh oh, oh you love a good girl bad(ly) oh oh, oh you make a bad girl - mad loooove her so much for it saving people, hunting things - the family business
Battle 4 Ur Life 6,774
OMG SO LATE TO THIS. I am experiencing the album right now walking in the park under a perfect sunny day. It’s PHENOMENAL. I might prefer it to the studio version of Mayhem. Transcendental. Thanks Lady Gaga. ”Why’d ya come around me with an ass like that?”

princedeeblebleble 3,131
Okay so I finally watched the show, 4 times and I am so in love with the stage it's so castlevania! Similarly to Harlequin, I'm surprised they didn't do more shows with this, like.. isn't it a waste of such a beautiful stage for just a one off preformance? In a way I kinda wish she actually preformed a bit more and gave more slay moments like during Vanish, The beast and DCT. But overall a gorgeous show, like its so bizzare seeing her preform and not scream put your hands up every other minute Also the costuming was so beautiful, I wish that the Blade of grass look had more time instead of that leather look, and maybe for the finale look to be even more dramatic, but she looked beautiful, especially the horn veil?! Perfection! Overall one of her best projects, she really elevated the latwr half of the album, minus SOAM.. and I almost prefer this staging to the actual show, cause it has so much personality, and I could imagine dancers doing really cool **** around it! But in another way, I'd say she's kind of testing the fields on how we react to her performing solo without much choreo, similarly to the YouTube gig she did last year. However sitting with the music a bit more, I wish Vanish, Perfect celebrity, DCT and The beast exploded more towards the end in the ways Zombieboy and Abra picked up pace as the song went along, like the problem of Mayhems pacing is even more evident here. I also think adding the bonus tracks would have fixed the pacing issue. And I kinda missed the reported Can't stop the high bow moment, like the finish NEEDED that energy explosion at the end since DWAS ended like a robot powering off or like her emerging in white as a ghost to do The Dead dance and vanishing into smoke. Hopefully she does more of these, it's really amazing seeing her do not regular pop star **** with amazing shows like this.

But I stopped thinking about it. The new version made me listen to the lyrics again and... brought the question back.
ElectricChapelR 2,301
Thank you gaga, once again an amazing experience. No words. The die with a smile performance is on my mind since then. Unbelievable. Thank you ❤️
Duella Dvil 11,203
I have a dog **** take: Garden of Requiem is really disappointing I would have LOVED to see her get more stripped. She stayed way too close to the originals format especially sandwiched between Abra and Perfect Godlebrity www.instagram.com/theduella666

I mean, I'm not native English speaking and never really thought much about the lyrics other than the surface reading. Also, once you're familiar with one interpretation of a song you never really question it again, I feel. Only after being confronted with it in a new-ish rendition I actively listened again and thought about it 😅 saving people, hunting things - the family business

Apec 175
Love every new version so much after watching again and again. The details buried in there, the way every song is a completely new rendition in its own way even if it looked more similar at first - she definitely changed a lot with every song. The way she uses her voice, the piano arrangements/performance hybrids, extra distortion and/or added synths on the spot... Everything is just a gem that clicks immediately. Just her (and her live band) creating one of the best pieces of musical art this year, being in direct delicious conversation with the brilliant first Mayhem last year. Watching in one go (well, with the tiniest bit of time between videos) is still the best way to enjoy, discover new elements, appreciate every detail and melt with love for all the magical performances. One nitpick: Apple head camera man, I know you said you were striving to work as hard as Gaga was in the making of featurette but we see the audience almost just as much as the stage. We want to see Gaga/the actual concert much more than random people jumping in slow motion, sorry folks, nothing against you! As someone with migraine, that extra hard blur effect used for random songs (the amazing Killah especially for example) makes me glad I've got meds. Thanks. Anyway, this is pure perfection from our Gaga, and what a way to close out the era (and that performance art premiere was inspired too). A question for anyone still reading, I'm an ignorant-feeling atheist rn, were those medieval-feeling creature designs inserted between some songs Catholic beasts/harbingers and what do they normally represent? I truly didn't recognize them and am dying to know. EDIT: Why did I not recognize the Teramorph of all things? The four elements, the four Gospels. Normally I know my Judeo-Christian imagery (as a fan of painted/sculpted art in the West, you almost have to) but my mind fails me here."Stranger, remember me - unknown" keeps giving me chills every time. Maybe they found that scribbled in the margins of a Bible - monks wrote A LOT there, a lot of which was lowbrow dumb drunk stuff which is just too funny - but maybe someone really found this as a Latin scribble or Gaga made it up, either way it's a banger of an opening in and of itself. You just immediately know this is going to be transcendental. Edited 4 hours ago by Apec
