It was 6am and I immediately fell back asleep to gain some of that lost sleep again. I am speechless. It was all I ever dreamed of. And the sound of it all pure bliss to my ears. I’ve always admired a reworked instrumental for a live show, even if that meant something more simple e.g. Bad Romance getting an electric guitar riff instead of a synth, so this was an absolute orgasm. Also being a musician/singer myself who is readying his first album all by himself, I’ve always dreamt of being able to play around with my instrumentals when the time for an apparent live comes. So yeah, I am AMAZED and that is an understatement. Finally, DISEASE WAS, IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THAT B*TCH. I WILL FOREVER GET GOOSEBUMPS AND IT WILL ALWAYS BE HER BEST LEAD SINGLE TO DATE. I really hope we’re gonna get vinyls, it’s too good. highlights for me were: Disease, Abra, VIY, ZB and obviously DWAS?!?!!?!?!?!? She grew up but stayed her immensely wonderful self imho, something we were maybe were less sure about after Chromatica (SHE wasn't even sure, she admitted later) but Mayhem gave us our Gaga back - and as enthusiastic, creative, funny, fearless and almost even more energetic than always it seemed (at least insofar as the nerves in her hip membrane, fibromyalgia, migraine and all side effects allowed) and again, imho, they apparently allowed for some of her best videos, album writing + producing AND best tour yet. Yes, these are my opinions, but aren't we lucky she didn't ditch any side of herself, just grew new ones? Seriously, do you see anyone besides maybe Daft Punk themselves (and frankly, it's their schtick so it's much more surprising here) give DWAS that makeover without the confidence in her vision and artistry? Though probably not very popular opinion alert: Bruno's voice at the beginning irked me a bit, DWAS sounded so much better sung solo by our Ga at the MBT BUT maybe it gave her 1) room to breathe a tiny bit, and 2) represented Bruno singing his part in the past and Gaga taking over live in the future. All is possible! Anyway, the whole concert and Mayhem Requiem are out of this world/galaxy/multiverse, as a fan since 2008 ETA: Not trying to pick a fight, I just never felt any fear re: her vision from the moment she announced the first single (I'm talking Disease obvi ).
