ReplayBoss 392
Just finished watching and omg we're really at a peak time as Gaga fans seeing her BEST era conclude . Loved Disease, Killah, and DWAS. One question is why cut CSTH? People who attended said it was the bow song so why was it cut from the recording? Idc if she didn't perform it, I just wanted to see it shown. Other than that, it was absolute peak cinema. The scars on my mind are on replay, r-replay
Takox 624
So... anyone could help a fellow monster that does not have Apple Music to watch the concert? See the world with me
Apec 132
I really can't stop watching this (on my lil phone screen no less) lol Anyway, seeing Gaga work those old IBM computer-looking insert-sound-yourself synth machines was such a treat! As was her amazing voice, her delightful piano playing, her amazing new arrangements, the idea of the opera being in ruins because of her inner struggle and watching her choosing healing through making music, etc. etc. HER MIND, ugh. I love Mayhem and Mayhem: Requiem SO MUCH
PSYCHOSHTICK 3,013
Holy ****. Killah, Zombie, Abra, DWAS... I'm just so confused on the album cover, because that wasn't shot during the show and I wonder if @ChicaSkas or anybody else who attended, could tell me if there were any changes during the actual show and this recording. Also, what was the intro actually like? Did she just appear like in the film? What did she wear for Can't Stop The High? By the way, @ChicaSkas, during sudden points I couldn't help but imagine you sitting there and writing down everything you were seeing for us, haha. JOLT 1,727
I am literally in tears, first saw her entrance performance LIKE WHAAAAT SHE IS INSANE, and now watching requiem, I can't handle. I could have have imagined we would be here when I first started listening to her in 2009

The Beast, HBDUWM and BOG sounded PERFECT. I SO agree with HBDYWM (and BoG was amazing too). It was so different and such an awesome angle to take! I'm an original The Beast fan but I'Il come to love this one too most likely. With HBDYWM and BoG it just elevated everything so much - again love seeing her play those humongous IBM-looking synth boxes where one slip of the finger means the whole take or more is ruined (I heard people were warned there could be multiple takes necessary and there was just the one ). Almost everything blew me away honestly, I can't stop watching this on my little phone screen. Just the idea of Gaga, amid the rubble of the opera house because of her inner conflict, finally finding her solution/inner peace regarding The Mistress: by healing herself through making music, doing the thing she loves most. So beautiful and effective an ending to the Mayhem saga. I love Mayhem and Mayhem Requiem SO SO MUCH I FEEL SLIGHTLY BUZZED. ModernEcstasy 9,234
God this is absolutely amazing! I am once again left in awe by Gaga. I am so sad that the Mayhem era is over. It was perfect. I loved every moment. Im wearing my Black Mayhem today because I’m in mourning. I don’t think I’ll ever love an album as much as I love Mayhem. Thank you Gaga.
princedeeblebleble 3,102
I haven't watchet it, because my bf have plans to watch it, but the SOUNDDDDDD, Jesus ****ing Christ Gagged, gupped and destroyed by the musical production of it all! And the vocals? Insane! I just kind of wish SOAM, Perfect celeb and VIY exploded towards the end a bit more, but a lot of the new versions are just insane; Especially Abra, Killah, HBDYWM, DWAS.. Just insanity! My wig is in the outer galaxies found by some alien human form on an exoplanet! Shame for such a beautiful stage set, it's a one night only thing, she could have easily taken the show to some european dates, but oh well. Thank you for your service Gaga & band, and Michael for inspiring and making our gal so happy to create such masterpieces in the last 2 years
TheLucifer992 2,006
I am blown away! The concept behind all of this is so good. Remember how the music video for Die With a Smile seemed random at the time, but they were obviously in some kind of nuclear testing or launch facility. And now, in the end, it feels like this takes place a few hundred years later, (after a nuclear war ?), with someone digging up and discovering the remnants of the Mayhem opera house. She seems almost like a ghost or a hologram roaming through those ruins, and you can only hear fragments of the songs, as if they are distant memories and that's why they sound changed and not like the originals. Edited 1 hour ago by TheLucifer992 They can't scare me, if I scare them first.
