To the gays of the internet: Turkish people have zero interest in war cuz we *barely* sustain ourselves. It's just very convenient for them to act this way cuz a portion of their voter base rewards them for such behavior, and the right wing EU countries get chummy with them behind doors as now they can scare their own voters with a non-existent threat of ottoman restoration. 

This has been going on for a very long time and it's pretty much the primary reason why Greece has been a bankrupt nation since the inception of its modern version.
