The 69th Grammys ceremony is set for Sunday, February 9, returning to Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. ABC is kicking off its 10-year deal with the Recording Academy inked in October 2024, and the show also will stream live on Hulu and Disney+. The news was part of Disney’s Upfront presentation Tuesday in Manhattan. The Alphabet Network last carried the Music Biggest Night way back in 1972. CBS had aired the Grammys ever since. There were live albums that won this award before. The last time was won by Tony Bennett in 1995 for his MTV Unplugged album. Maybe Gaga will be the one who wins it after awhile. Genuinely curious. No cause the standard version already won a Grammy so all songs in that version are disqualified. Gaga would have to release a deluxe version with over 40% new material I believe. AVeryGagaHolyDick 31,487 Posted May 14 Share Posted May 14 Just watch MAYHEM Requiem take the GRAMMY for Album Of The Year cause it'll be the only live album and therefore a nice way to escape the whole debacle of “but X artist deserved more” / “they chose the wrong one as usual” and stuff And to be fair, although I think Gaha should've won AOTY at least once already, I wouldn't be mad if her first win ended up being for a live album.
