I’m kinda mad that the date already leaked a few days ago. If it didn’t, this would be much more exciting.
I guess the conclusion is I have to spend less time on fan sites to avoid leaks in future 😂

I don't think so. As much as I hate generative AI, it is rampant in todays culture so it's hard to specifically get mad at one person or artist for using it. For me personally: I'm bothered by the trend and what it stands for, rather than the people who use it.

Many people (clearly) aren't bothered by it at all.

It will be forgiven or forgotten pretty quickly by most, unless it becomes a regular thing.

To her credit tho (and I have to remind myself this as well) not EVERYONE is hyper-aware of Gaga’s every move as it happens. Majority of people don’t know about the Apple Music link that was up for a hot second before going away. Hell, many Gaga fans weren’t aware of MAYHEM Requiem in the first place so I don’t think this promo right now is doing any harm

Yeah okay I’ll agree with that. 
But let’s be honest, the candle is more interesting to watch.

People yesterday were arguing with me cause I said this whole rollout was a mess, trying to justify her saying “The GP doesn’t know nor cares”. I was saying fan’s experience matters way more than pleasing the GP and now look, private LA parties for the same privileged group of fans and an ambiguous but highly likely ai video to announce a date we already knew. Seeing you guys all pissed off is EXACTLY what I was saying. Now many of you will go into this experience pre-disposed to feeling annoyed at the gimmicks employed by Apple and backed by Gaga. The whole release sucked off some of the fun of this project for the fans (the most important part of the audience), while it will be quickly and long forgotten for the random viewers who will listen/watch requiem once and then move on

I'd say we're all still very hyped and have been ever since the actual concert took place. 

So sad it's with Apple though... I don't have an account and would they let the whole world stream it? Etc. Etc. Wish she could put it on her YouTube account like One Night: Harlequin live. I know about VPNs but I'm on a slooow tablet here.

I mean, it's kinda unrealistic for her to release it for free. Things cost money and at least apple should still be a indicator for quality, so I'm pretty happy.
