They could turn this into a moment announcing its release date, followed by the announcement of the premiere event, which would make us non-goers expect at least a red carpet look or photos of her inside the event, even interviews. Would we be there at the event? Nope, but it still feels the public is part of the project.

According to the Apple Music announcement, isn't it also coming out May 14/15? So it's not like there will be a premiere event, and then we'll have to wait months before we actually see it. We'll be able to watch it around the same time the premiere happens.

Yeah, it was coming out that day (unless things changed now) so whats the point of being so quiet about it/the event when its 3 days away.

Because she'll just announce it the day before/hours before it happens. That's been her MO since DWAS. There's no need to announce things weeks in advance because the average person is going to forget about it until the day arrives. She probably gets better engagement when she announces something close to the actual release date so that casuals have more of a chance to catch it.

That's fomo speaking, which is fair. But we don't know what they have planned. We'll probably get a red carpet look, she did one for the Chromatica Ball movie premiere. For all we know she might even tease something that night. The fact that they are doing a private event doesn't mean they forgot about the rest of us. I think we just have to pe patient tbh
