Like I get the logic of releasing the teaser at the final show of the tour (especially if REQUIEM is sort of the death of MAYHEM/end of the era), but like…why didn’t y’all sis out the dates and do more structured promo for the following month? Sure in the long run the GP won’t know, but the people most invested in these project are the hardcore fans, that do know. And this shapes the entire perception around Gaga and her team and all expectations. The first tease creates excitement, the fourth one without pay off creates fatigue and then for the next era what happens? Fans will mistrust that it’s going to be well handled, then that conversation reaches Stan Twitter and forums and created a perception. Im 1000% looking at it from a marketing perspective but these things matter. Plus the GP will watch this once or twice at most. The fans are the one’s that will keep Requiem alive. Let’s not give them reasons to consume the project pre-annoyed because they blue balled us and then the pay off may or may not be enough.
