I saw it yesterday at the Fan Event and it was probably the best legacy sequel ive seen. It really felt like we got to pick up with these characters as they would truly be today and watch those relationships continue to grow. It was rewarding in that aspect. It also had something to say - which i enjoyed. 

Gaga obviously does great - the fashion is great. The music is great. 

From start to finish i had just as much fun as I did watching the first - maybe even more. 

The movie deserves it.

Now it takes Gaga to get me there. Going this Sunday.

I rewatched the original last night, and I came back from watching the sequel an hour ago. 

I loved it! I thought it did justice to the original film, and the soundtrack was great. "Runway" sounds perfect in the movie, and I really enjoyed the other two songs as well.

Also enjoyed seeing Freddie cameo in the movie, and Sarah's back silhouette. But I was really happy for Freddie because you could clearly see his reflection in the mirror. And they were both listed in the credits!

Just got out the movie and it deserves its success 

a true triumph in every sense tbh. I think they picked up and wrapped the story of the first film in the best way possible and made several points without being whiney. I hope the success of this one can bring back more writing/acting heavy blockbusters that are not… Avatar 3 or every Marvel movie.

I think it’s Gaga’s best cameo too (partly cuz she’s playing herself but in any case a win)
