And runway hasn’t either…it’s been thoroughly dragged and if you stick the 3 side by side you could definitely have anticipated that is my point. Glamorous Life is also very lovely! And people love her ballads.

I don't get the "it's for a movie soundtrack" defense tbh. Fashion was on the COASH soundtrack and is very good and Vanity was on the Beastly movie soundtrack and is amazing as well (And both songs fit the fashion/DWP theme better than the new songs). Just because a song is for a specific project or side project doesn't mean it has to be mediocre or low quality (like the new songs are).

I looked through the lyrics and I would say the verse and chorus connect (mostly) lyrically. I think it's about Gaga singing to a guy whos in a new relationship with a woman but his old flame comes around and she's reminding him of how amazing she was with him and encouraging him to get back with her and the chorus is her saying how amazing the woman looks. She also sings that it's eating him up inside not being with the older lover and that it's like a mental torture for him. The chorus is also about appreciating womens bodies in fashion yes but it connects with the rest of the song(even if some lyrics are a bit clunky).

When it came on in the theater was about to stand up and dance I was so happy I didn’t listen to the full thing til after seeing the film.
