DIVAS!  In an interview with iHeartRadio, Meryl Streep confirms that she called Lady Gaga from London to invite her to join “The Devil Wears Prada 2”. 👠

“I just said: ‘Would you do it? Because it’s going to be really great.’ And she replied: ‘Yes.’ (Gaga, a woman of few words!)

In the same conversation, she and her co-star Emily Blunt praised the singer’s work ethic, noting that she accepted the invitation even in the middle of a world tour at the time.

“She’s just incredible. She was on a world tour that lasted a year, performing for 75,000 people in stadiums, and yet she still flew in to join us,” Streep emphasized.

“And friends told me that she’d do the entire show and, at the end, she’d go backstage, take off the wig, take everything off, remove all the makeup, go back on stage… just like that, totally simple. And people would cry. Because seeing that… it was like she was saying: ‘All this is part of the show, but this is the real me.’ I think she’s an incredibly creative force. I think she’s amazing,” Blunt concluded.
