An Underappreciated Pop Bible

I recently listened to this album again for the first time in YEARS.... like since 2012/2013 and even though the production is very 2010's I think this album is full of great tracks that were so underappreciated at the time and still now...

songs like Liberty Walk, Who Own's My Heart, Every Rose Has It's Thorns, Two More Lonely People, Permanent December (which is so charli xcx coded tbh), Robot and ofc the title track - Can't Be Tamed - are absolute BOPSSSSS which mostly went underappreciated due to how the media & the GP treated Miley's transition from disney to adulthood. 

THIS ALBUM NEEDS A SERIOUS REVIVALLL, especially when it's now over 15 years old!

He first rebel era. It was so chaotic, she was caught smoking from a bong and all that then, and get so much hate. 

It's crazy to think it was so serious back then, when few years later, smoking substances is just so normalized now. People are more educated about it.

This happens any time an artist (especially a female artist) releases a growing up album. It happened to Britney, Xtina, Robyn, etc. I'm not surprised that it happened to Miley too. People want to box women into one thing, especially when they start young, and when they choose to break out of that mold suddenly the misogyny comes out.
