Ngl stuff like this is why I think being a Stan should genuinely be in the DSM. There needs to be specific mental health protocols geared toward helping people who have this level of disruptive parasocial attachment to a celeb.

Absolutely. It's very odd, and not often mentioned, but it's a relatively new condition I believe? Having all thia chart info at your finger tips and obsessing over it. People are making fun in the comments but if they aren't actually sleeping or eating its very alarming and I dont find that funny. Hopefully they have support.

I dont think its relatively new. But its only being taken more seriously now because social media makes it more visible. 

But these are the same types of people who shot presidents because they thought it would make a celebrity love them
