My first flat living out of home had one in the living room in 2010. I think the old school CRT TVs didn't fully phase out until the early 2010's. But maybe we were all just poor and noone I knew could afford to upgrade to plasma/LCD screens until well after they debuted the 2007 recession hit us all pretty hard I was thinking about this recently and marvelling at how crazy it is that when Gaga debuted it was common to watch her early music videos when they just happened to come on on a music channel, on a fuzzy box TV with bunny-ears antenna. Noone was watching music videos on YouTube until around 2009 and even then a lot of people hadn't discovered YouTube yet and a lot of people were still using ****ing dial up internet which was too slow to load them I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
