I genuinely think she wants to be healthy and happy, so I’m overjoyed as a fan that she took this step on her own. That’s a huge decision to make voluntarily for someone who is struggling.

We were all right to fight for the end of the conservatorship, both for her and to set an example for other people trapped in those situations, but it was always obvious that she wasn't right. Her Instagram posts aren't just her being silly and fun, she's manic and erratic. She did need to be freed from the control and forced medication etc, but she also does need professional help. Two things can be true at once. I think people just refuse to see it because they don't want to feel like they did the wrong thing by advocating for her freedom

I'm very happy she's doing what she needs to get better.

One thing that I truly don't understand though, is that in 2016 she was supposedly not taking any medicine (in secret), and she was absolutely glowing that year and seemed the most like the Britney we knew in a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time.
