For someone with Disney PR training, it was a very weird and off-putting response to "its my culture", but whatever. It's a white American girl being ignorant about different cultures. Its a tale as old as time. People are gonna draw this out on both sides and I don't think its really worth it unless you're actively a part of the culture that she commented on. As someone from that culture I'm happy to report that this really is a nothingburger it did come off weird, but not even in an ignorant way more along the line of a cringey comment someone in your friend group makes and you just nod and smile to.
