I've never been to a Muslim wedding or been out to the middle East where it's obviously more common. Belly dancing circles and Shakira's Superbowl moment is the only times I've heard it. Not heard it in movies either. If you're part of a certain culture, it's normalised to you but anyone outside of it will be wholly unaware.
