Also as for this being not in Gaga's ballpark musically I completely disagree, there's a reason people started comparing it to BJ AF and Donatella, she has definitely made that kind of music before I even thought of Fashion from the COASH soundtrack.

I think I can see a clearer run through from Babylon to RUNWAY. Especially from the Haus version. BJAF, Donatella and Fashion are thematically similar but the actual music is quite different to my ear.

Personally I think I prefer when the lyrics complement eachother rather than compete and signal "now this is MY bit". Although I have to say it is quite hard to distinguish who is who in RUNWAY. I think it's because they have in large parts lawyered their vocals on top of eachother with no harmonisation.

THIS OMG. I was annoyed when she jumped on the trend with Chromatica of making shorter songs and now it's happened again. I'm glad Mayhem didn't follow that and actually gave the songs room to breathe.

It’s just the standard now for pop music because radio edits now are about 3 mins long, plus TikTok and all that. you can bet that there’s gonna be some short songs on her next studio album too tbh.
