Point is, the fan base's taste is hardly a barometer for commercial success as they come into new Gaga releases with a much MUCH different lens than the GP. Cos you said "Based on the fan base, it won't go #1". Personally, I think the song is a bit of a long shot hit-wise... even if I love it too! But we never know, especially if the film becomes a hit.
