With April 15th is the date for Florence + Machine tour, and basket ball show on 17th, Gaga can't fill in last minute like that. 

She specifically chose the word cancel, unlike Miami date where she chose the word postpone. So she definitely know why she can't pursue reschedule date, especially she most likely discussing this with her team prior posting it on her socials.

Also, New York date already billed as final date. She won't want to do misleading marketing where she could possibly get sued.

Probably. I don't know the protocol for tours and rescheduled dates, I swear Miami N3 would have straight up been cancelled if not for the new leg of the tour that allowed 6 months of time between the scrapped date and new date.

With this one? When would the make up date even be? The tour ends in a week

Can't this girl have a break with her bad luck? I am so happy and proud of her and this tour, which is so insanely top level I could write pages about it. It's unfair she cannot do it the way she wants. I am very sad for the fans' disappointment and for Gaga I am extremely sad and hope she will deal with the pressure without any longer-lasting anxiety.

But what's the thing with her announcing/releasing singles and getting sick/having vocal problems at the same time. Is this just a bad luck? Isn't she rehersing too much?

I looked it up, and it had postponements, but not cancelations. The Monsterball (1.0, at least) did have a postponement in January 2010.

I've heard about the Miami curse but this is the first I've heard of the Montreal one. I don't recall her ever cancelling or postponing Montreal shows ever?

What a bummer that this had to happen a mere 4 shows before it was going to end on 100% completion. I don't understand why it can't be rescheduled, it's just one date. Granted, knowing where you're going to do the last show is a big deal but then it makes the rescheduled one all the more special. Wonder if any fans could get any last minute tickets to the NYC one? Oh well, at least she's already hit her record of her biggest selling tour. Just a shame it won't be quite as spectacular as it could've been.
