No shade to Miss Thing, but she sounded pretty rough for a solid two weeks after imo lol. She’s a pro so she can work around it, but her voice sounded heavy/strained to me, she dodged a lot of the high notes and mostly did lower harmonies.

As someone whose show was the VMAs night… no she did NOT. She was very obviously dodging singing a lot of the high notes she normally sings to the point where I was shocked when Vanish into You happened and she actually went for the opening note
