Also, y’all pretend Gaga didn’t do the same repeatedly without acknowledging it and are quick to forget that Gaga only addressed the R. Kelly situation after a journalist threatened to embarrass her publicly about it at the Golden Globes when she was campaigning for her Oscar 

I totally understand the sentiment and I don’t like Katy but let’s not pretend we didn’t all hide some of our big mistakes until we felt threatened by them.

um that's not completely true, is it? TIHTY came not long after the ARTPOP era, which is in itself is an apology

yes, she tried to sweep DWUW under a rug and i've always criticised her for that. it was obvious she didn't remove the song until it caught some heat

but gaga has done way more than katy to make up for her mistake, most of it unprompted

not sure why you're always the first to bring gaga down in threads like these when she's not even involved

just because katy has moved on doesn't mean we have to lol (and don't forget all the atrocious stuff she continued to do after and presently)

Maybe she feels bad about her life choices and it takes a mature person to admit it, reflect on it and make changes.  I think she has the capacity to grow as a person.  Who am I to judge her character?

It’s a Gaga forum, it’s completely logical to mention her though. I didn’t mention her to bring her down, I know she’s sincerely learned a lot.

And I really wish Katy did the same, especially since she doesn’t have too much to lose after all. And it’s an awful album, so it would actually benefit her to just erase it from streaming platforms (unlike DWUW which was not only a wonderful song that could make her lose success, but also her last GAGA hit at the time.)

But I’m convinced she worked with Puke cause she was completely desperate after losing all of her success. She thought maybe Puke and herself was a unique pair that would be able to bring the magic back, à la Gaga and RedOne.

That doesn’t change the fact it was a horrible choice to make, that’s for sure. But I doubt she consciously decided to do it to hurt anyone, including Kesha. It was more of a bad survival instinct move. She definitely needs to do A LOT to apologize sincerely, but I believe there is a chance she will do it. She k*lls herself at the end of her lastest music video, when she hears Woman’s World start playing on the radio. I think it was her first (light) attempt at saying she really fvcked up and she’s starting to realize the hurt she’s caused.

that's an interesting way to look at the end of that music video, had to check again since I thought you meant she intentionally k*lls herself but it was an accident. I still don't think she believes she caused any hurt, so if that ending was a comment on Woman's World (it might not be since the whole video is about almost accidental deaths), it might have been more of what she did to her career "accidentally blowing it up" rather than about causing hurt to others
