Not only is it one of her best songs but one of the best pop songs ever created. It wasn’t a song about love or partying and it was a song that had a meaningful message. gagzus 23,030 Posted April 6 Share Posted April 6 (edited) It’s a great song but would’ve made a terrible single tbh, it’s got the worst mastering on TFM too Garibay made it far too busy BUT that is his production style I guess because BTW suffered the same fate (both the song and the album) I also think releasing a song that sounds like Vogue in it’s bridge before Born This Way which sounded like Express Yourself would’ve been a death sentence forever glad she’s moved away from making music that sounds like Madonna’s old songs now. Just double checked, I got it mixed up the we did it kids was about Born This Way releasing (the song) but still yeah she was the one who wanted Alejandro. DITD was released however as an official single in France and Australia before Alejandro became a single because Interscope were pushing for it.
