Yes and no 2bh :p if the tracklisting is good, an album could have 20 songs, but if the songs are **** even a 5 track EP can feel like an eternity I'm more annoyed with these quick cumshots of songs that are under 3 minutes and waiting for years to get an album thats only like 30 minutes long. In metal terms thats like 2.5 songs haha

I mean, there have been times where I've enjoyed filler songs more than the singles... so I disagree with ha.

I do prefer shorter albums, but with less songs rather than shorter songs. 40-44 minutes is ideal because it fits into a single vinyl.

When you actually listen to an album - actually listen, not just leave it in the background while you're cleaning or whatever - one hour is really long. 40min is perfect, above that it starts getting exhausting.
