Stop thinking people online and on Twitter have a bit of impact in what happens in real world. Boycott things NEVER work.

Last time they tried to cancel Scream 7 online with boycott campaigns, massive hate spreading and reviews bombings. It made it the best box office earnings in the franchise (worldwide and domestic). Cancelling Harry Potter will never happen.

Exactly. I had this talk with my brother earlier. Honestly JK is such a bad person that it has tainted the HP franchise to me, however, I’ll be looking for it somewhere else to not give any streams to her.

They just swapped genre in the middle of the series, from high fantasy to horror  the spellcasting was also reduced to just swinging your wand without anything else involved. Having said that I still thoroughly enjoyed it

Wait nvm I know the answer. Money. Harry Potter is an endless money maker. They have the perfect combination of nostalgia from older folks and curiosity from a whole new audience of teens and kids that never saw the originals. Massive audience to get money from. They'll milk this cow until it's dead

For the love of god if you are going to watch this PIRATE IT. It's not hard. If you don't mind lower quality use a streaming site, if you can be bothered then learn to torrent. All the info you need is on the reddit r/piracy

 

And if you are like me and are sick of these streaming giants having too much power in general, extorting us into higher fees, lower quality, less available content, no account sharing, and now ADS and 'rentals'.. cancel all your subscriptions and use Stremio. If you want the guide on how to set it up DM me. I try not to mention it by name often online because it's best to keep these things on the downlow so idiots don't ruin it for everyone.. but basically it's a fully functional streaming app I watch all my shows and movies on, in 4K, with subtitles, that works just as well as most streaming apps, and has pretty much all the content from all of them combined in one place. FUUCK streaming giants

I'd just encourage that anyone who really wants to watch this series finds a way to watch it that doesn't financially support anti-trans hate groups and hate figures.

Another great thing to do is to not post anything about the series publicly online (Instagram stories, tweets, replies to tweets, etc.) so that the series is not promoted to more people (people who might watch it in a way that does support anti-trans hate groups).

It looks EXACTLY like the movies. The costumes, the sets, the vibe, the colour pallettes. I work with children as young as 10 years old and the movies are still massively popular, even with gen alpha children. So this just seems so unnecessary.

So a distinct problem with this beyond supporting jk Rowling’s pockets, is having to stay so close to the aesthetic of the *films* not the books, creates an uncanny sort of effect at the actual differences. Besides all that, there’s so little charm or whimsy or magic in this. It feels actually very sad, like they aren’t even all that curious to inspire young kids to want to watch this—it’s for the stunted adults who can’t get enough—which is a depressing thing for these young actors who weren’t even alive when the last movies came out. To be subjected to being content fodder for self-repressed adults being targeted by hollow corporate executives.

Id argue this color palette is a little sadder and more bleak especially compared to the first film
