She co-host every year with Jay-Z since at least 2022 - a "gold party". It's just a way to gather all the celebs who are around and network I guess.

She is one of many famous people from all different types of entertainment who hosts one. Madonna famously hosts one as well. It’s a tradition for celebs and institutions (such as magazines) who’re not actors to host parties for the Oscars that goes back decades.
