Best Actor at Oscars 2026

This is a very heated race this year. Timothee seemed to be winning this one early in the season, but in the past weeks he lost his steam, so Michael B. Jordan can easily win over him now. Also, both Hawke and Moura are strong contenders in this category. 

So, who do you think is going win?

Also, please remember the whole Chalamet's Ballet online controversy happened already AFTER the voting was closed so it won't affect him on Sunday's ceremony.

I want Michael B. Jordan to win, but I do think that there'll be an "upset" and would not be surprised if Moura or Hawke take it. In fact, it might be time for Hawke to get it after 5 nominations.

I hope Wagner wins it but it’s probably going to be Timothy, especially with people voting already before the mess. 

So I’m fine with either Wagner, Michael or Ethan. Not a fan of Timothy putting the recent interview aside. 

After The Actor Awards I’m starting to think B Jordan does have a big chance to take it.

MBJ will win. Timmy failed to win either BAFTA or SAG and they’re usual precursors to the Oscars. He could still pull out a win though. But it seems Sinners is more loved by the voters than Marty Supreme. 
 

I want Ethan to win because I thought he was incredible in Blue Moon.

Marty Supreme is a masterpiece, and Timmy’s performance, as annoying as he may be, is worthy of an Oscar.

As for Sinners, I absolutely don’t get the hype around this film, but good luck to them.

Actually, SAG is not as good a precursor as many think. Last year, Thimothee and Demi Moore won at the SAG awards - and they BOTH ended up losing at the Oscars.

It's especially true in the past years - cause Oscars expended their voters internationally (so there are a LOT of Academt voters worldwide who have nothing to do with SAG).

I mean Marty Supreme at the Baftas ended up being one of the biggest losers in Baftas history with 0 wins out of 11 noms. 

I just don't see Timothee Chalamet winning the Oscar as a result.

Plus, the Oscars voting body has a habit of deliberately shunning open award chasers like him. 

I think all the signs from across awards season points to Michael B Jordan winning.
