At some point she wanted to change the entire album to make it more grunge, and she didn't want to put the 3 pop songs until Michael convinced her, so I don't think she called the album Mayhem specifically because of the mix of genres on it...:

+ if we start taking Gaga's album names literally, then Chromatica should be about the fictive world she created, Joanne should be only about her aunt, ARTPOP should only be about art and pop?
