I have to add, that she doesn’t seem to really care about the chart performance. This was mostly just for her fans and for her to say what she wanted to say and create the album the way she wanted.

 

also, most of her fans are now in their late 20s-mid 30s. That age group probably just bought the album during the first week of release. 
 

idk, I’m not gonna look too much into it. Her tour is selling well and I’m happy she’s back.

I don’t understand the point of this thread tbh. Some "main" pop girls can’t secure a top 3 debut and 80k in their first week of release. So the fact Hilary can after 10 years since her last album just speaks volumes of how loyal and dedicated her fans are.

Mainly because she comes from a generation of pure sales not streaming, so those who adore her, have already bought our copy, it’s up to streaming and promo to carry the rest which she’s doing and ultimately; it’ll sell the tour, which will benefit her streaming, therefore the album grows slowly and gets it’s legs, she’s obviously not GAGA either

I follow a lot of vinyl/CD collectors on Instagram and nearly everyone of them made several videos of her new album (and especially the autopen situation), so I kinda assumed it would make more noise.
