Her first three albums had such beautiful artworks (especially 25)... then 30's is suddenly amateur hour The placement and framing of her head in 30 really pisses me off for some reason. The dramatic lighting and limited color palettes in the earlier covers worked so much better for her as well.

NNES 6,051
Should've released the original album in 2018 as planned... She scrapped the best songs from the album (title track, Let You Be Right, All the Ways,...) to add some lackluster 2019-esque songs to it. The Nicki feature also did not age well tho The way she scrapped "Criminals" from the tracklist just to release it as a bonus track on Timeless (2 albums later!!) and it charted on the Billboard 100. Gurl, u did everything wrong with this album
StrawberryBlond 15,349
Very early to say, I know, but I totally think Man's Best Friend. After the runaway success Sabrina had with Short n Sweet, that album should've been another big hit for her. But after Manchild (which definitely only did well as it was the lead single, it seems like the GP has totally forgotten it now), Tears surprisingly flopped despite it following her hit formula and the label ended promo and that was that. But I can't say I blame them. There was a severe lack of hit material there, one bland and boring song after another. Tears had the biggest chance of being a hit so when that couldn't do it, time to call it a day. I can't imagine how deflated she must be feeling, wondering why the public seemed to care a lot less about her in the space of a year. Personally, I think she should have breathed between albums and let her material develop. No way were 90% of those songs worthy of the final cut. And after listening to it last week, The Romantic. Yes, this album is dated on arrival. Bruno's been stuck with the same style since his second album, he really needs to branch out. He just makes the most cliche lyrics and can't create a dancefloor filler like he used to. It's no longer retro, it's old-fashioned. Some critics actually compared his work to AI. After a decade wait, it's shocking that this is the best he could do. After those big comeback hits he had with Gaga and Rose, to use that as the launchpad for this snoozefest of a record barely clocking in at half an hour, is an embarrassment.
