The intelligence assistance from Russia could help Iran locate American warships, radar or other communication systems, but there is no indication Moscow is helping direct Iranian missile or drone strikes, the sources said. If that happens...the US would then attack China because they would absolutely monopolize and gatekeep the chips needed for major electronics and AI innovation. The longer the Iran war drags on, the more the US military is humbled and bled dry of important munitions. Like lets face it, intelligence leaks already suggest that the US is using interceptors faster than it can replenish them fighting the IRGC. Alongside the fact the US has gone in without a plan and can't even answer as to how long it will take to end the war now. They've already committed the Navy to both controlling the seas around Venezuela and chasing Venezuelan oil tankers. Alongside blockading Cuba to an extent. And have now committed additional Navy resources to the middle east because they need to find a way of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open while destroying the IRGC navy. So beyond what is already stationed in the Pacific theatre, the US has no further resources to commit to China. And as we've seen with Iran - the US has burned its allies so badly that none want to help. If a Taiwanese takeover were to happen, it'd likely happen after we see continued oil and natural gas market shocks due to the Iran war. The US allies (excluding Japan) are far more open politically to China these days and may be desperate to avoid further economic harm and actually seek to maintain ties with China.
