If that's funny it makes me literally get stomach ache because of such stuff somtimes, and trust me, it's something i wish could turn off, but I cannot, then I'm happy I made your day. The toxic kindness here astounds me sometimes, let's be nice to everyone about everything, but if someone has a different opinion about something, let's eat them lol. But mentioning a disorder that many people here also have, it's natural we would share our experiences. It really is a spectrum, after all, and we will experience adhd differently. What did end up sounding funny about what you said is regarding the repetitive pattern, when most adhders often thrive on this overstimulation, which, of course, varies from time to time and place to place. Look there are ways you can switch it off specifically in this forum. As another user mentioned you can ignore the user you dislike seeing posts from. I've done it to plenty. But it is insane you are complaining about toxicity given this entire discourse came about because you decided (along with some other users) to "eat" another user for having a different opinion to yours. People made you feel bad for sharing how you feel because you tried to weaponise it against another member. Not because you are ADHD and have triggers. I get triggered by loud eaters, it makes me feel physically sick and I can't tune it out. But I recognise that I can't prevent people eating and I take personal responsibility to minimise exposure to that trigger - you could do that with the ignore function, and if you weren't sure of how to do it you could have asked.
