Also, it isn't like her dad recently came out and said these things, just an old article resurfacing. The Super Bowl appearance was a clever way to say what she needed to say without adding fuel to what would certainly turn into an international news story about Gaga vs. her dad and Trump. There's something there with the American dream and celebrity culture and the worship of Hollywood and celebrities in the US. He'll do anything he can do bring up a celebrities name and tie it to himself.
