Tim Sheehy (GOP senator) breaks marine's arm as he protests US involvement in Iran

Brian McGinnis is a US marine vet running as a Green Party candidate in North Carolina's Senate race. At a senate committee meeting today he stood up and loudly protested the funding of Trump's Iran war, which we are waging on behalf of Israel.

"America does not want to send its sons and daughters to war for Israel."

You can see his arm stuck in the door where it audibly snaps at 0:09 as the senator and police pull him. Be warned, it is a disgusting sound.

Unfortunately, most major media outlets are reporting that Sheehy "assisted officers in removing him" rather than "aided officers in assaulting him".

McGinnis is facing three counts of assaulting a police officer, three counts of resisting arrest and one count of crowding, obstructing and incommoding for interrupting the committee hearing.

Capitol police and the offending senator continue to describe him as "violent".

Sheehy himself was a Navy SEAL who was discharged for medical reasons. He also shot himself in the arm at one point. Irrelevant, but shows you how stupid he is.

Also noteworthy, Tim Sheehy has received about $650,000 from AIPAC.

He’s one of my wonderful senators. Unfortunately the post-Yellowstone crowd of MAGA militiamen and fake Texas cowboys who invaded our state after COVID will not care. They elected a different out of state, wealthy man who assaulted a reporter and then elected him again as our governor (Gianforte). 
 

there was a time that Montana was a purple state (we voted for Clinton, had Jon Tester as a senator for decades and 16 years of a democrat governor) but those days are gone. 😢
