Controversiaga 16,259
Shia LaBeouf spoke about his first arrest in New Orleans during a recent interview with Andrew Callaghan — shortly before the actor was arrested for the second time in the same city. "I’ll be honest with you, big gay people are scary to me," Shia said while explaining what set off his anger. "I’m standing by myself, and three gay dudes are next to me, touching my leg, I get scared. I’m sorry if that’s homophobic. Then I’m that. ... That's why I got arrested." Calling his own behavior "bulls**t," the 'Fury' actor added, "I got to deal with that. Does that mean I got to go to rehab again? I’m just not into it, bro. I don’t think my answers are there. If I genuinely did, I’d go. I don’t think I have a drinking problem. I think I have a different problem, and I’m going to address it.” (📸: Getty Images) - hollywood life Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . ALGAYDO 35,162
If guys were touching him inappropriately, I totally understand his uncomfortableness, that’s basically sexual harassment. If a lesbian woman would say the same thing about straight men touching her, I think we’d all be on her side 10 1

If a lesbian woman would say the same thing about straight men touching her, I think we’d all be on her side The difficulty here is that Shia has a history of violent and abusive behaviour linked to alcohol. With previous arrests including racial abuse, SA allegations, emotional abuse and physical abuse. So given he has over a decade of abusive alcohol induced crimes under his belt, I just find it hard to believe that this situation is exactly as what he claims. Because I've been around enough drunks & alcoholics in my personal life and during my time working on bars to know that people like him misread situations due to their inebriation and their first response is violence every time. I've seen plenty of occasions where drunks like him have lashed out at someone for touching them and it was just the person trying to walk past them in a crowded bar etc. And...like this case went to court. In a highly homophobic state. And the judge ruled against him and has forced him to take substance-abuse treatment and screening. Thank you for the insight, I know almost nothing regarding Shia besides the fact that he was in “Holes” and appeared in a Sia MV but I googled him and realized he was the person who was abusing FKA Twigs, like wow the **** I read was BAD. Bro does seem like he has an alcohol and violence problem, jeez

JoeCool 1,019
I wouldn't say he's necessarily a homophobe based on only those comments but he looks like a p0rn star with that mustache Edited March 2 by JoeCool
Cssomeone 1,717
To be really honest, (and not to play the Devil's advocate) as much as he might have a turbulent past and other issues, he has a point here. If he was a woman talking about being inappropriately approached and touched by men, we wouldn't be judging him. He even says that he has no problem with gay men, as long as they don't touch him or sit on his lap, because he is (drum roll) straight. 2
