I love that I found some fellow JFAD lovers here :bradley:

Can I also mention how much I love If my friends could see me now, and her growls at the end. I love the Harlequin version as well, but there's something about that moment in the movie that is much crazier.

Love you!

Also, same. There’s something so fascinating about how unhinged she is on that soundtrack. She’s gentle and soft, but you can hear that any second she might 180 and just go full on psychotic. I love that level of nuance in her vocals in the movie.

Harlequin is such a great companion piece because hearing her sing these songs more polished as Lady Gaga helps hear how she embodied Harley on the JFAD soundtrack. And vice versa too. Both just made me adore her so deeply as an artist.

FAD is one of the most interesting songs of her career. The idea of a manic waltz is genius to me. The fact that she composed it makes it even more interesting. Both versions are beautiful in their own ways. I could talk about this forever.

Folie À Deux > all songs from ASIB

but ASIB clearly destroys JFAD as an album lmao

edit: I was thinking of the Harlequin version of Folie À Deux, not the movie one

100% JFAD

ASIBis giving country dad rock and some weird off-brand 00s pop. It has some gems (ARUTW, Look what I found), but i enjoy JFAD way more as a whole piece of work. My only wish that it could be mastered better, it sounds like they clipped the sound straight from the movie and called it a day :billie:

I respect others' opinions, but I actually really enjoy "Why Did You Do That?" and "Hair, Body, Face". They're underrated to me.

Also, I'm just realizing that "Heal Me" could be added to the collection of Gaga songs about being diseased, sick, and/or in need of a cure.

I live for those guitar riffs unfortunately. I hope someday Gaga will record the entire album again but on her own
