In Feb 26, there’s just no justification for a new single, there’d be little to no return on investment. Radio costs money, sure they could do a MV with concert footage for nothing. With Maybem i think the problem was they also counted Die With a Smile. And then The Dead Dance came as well. So there were no intention to release a new single from the album because they planned to release 3 singles (4 with DWAS) If The Dead Dance had not happened I think we would've gotten VIY or HBDUWM as a single. The problem was "Abracadabra" was still going strong, so they didn't want to risk switching so soon. I do feel by July would've been a nice spot for a "new single", but also traditional singles ain't what they used to be tbh.
