Wasn’t there going to be a btwb hbo film? At the end of the monster ball film she says something along the lines of Im already planning my next hbo special Im really excited (which would’ve been for the btwb.

Nope. What I know she was supposed to film in New York again but she cancelled rest of the tour because ahe needed the hip surgery.

Nothing has been confirmed about this but the general consensus is that it was scrapped when she had to cancel the rest of the North American tour

Just wondering even if they didn't record it for DVD, I assume they would have some professional footages saved for every tour in a system etc.?

Yes idk if it was ever going to be a full concert video, but it was definitely a behind the scenes documentary of her life and career at the time, and directed/filmed by terry richardson

There was a rumour floating around that all the stage sets and props were stored in a warehouse in London and that it was indeed planned to bring it back for filming. But this was like ten years ago and I don't know if I'm remembering correctly.

It would have been nice for the 10th anniversary, but we know the circumstances of 2021. So maybe she is indeed planning to bring it back sometime, but as mentioned, it will never be the same vibes as the original BTWB.

Forget it. Terry is a blacklisted dead man in the industry. 

DWUW, BTWB Film, ARTPOP Film might be dead but Terry isnt the only one attached to the project so I hope there's still hope.
