Poltergeist 4,006
Disease is Gaga's best lead single ever, and one of my favorite songs by her, while Judas (as @NUTELLA noticed with their unpeccable taste) is just Bad Romance Temu version. I still love it, but it's wayyyyy to similar to BR I've been getting messages from my deep waters 1

dubstep111 741
Until I hear a better song from her, I will always pick disease. This is coming from somebody who has a Judas tattoo. 1

Y'all have recency bias More interesting instrumental? Gurl… the instrumental is a straight up sample of a published loop. 12 128 BPM Root E by Manuel Schleis and Alex Butcher. Disease is vastly superior and no where near as corny as Judas.

Y'all have recency bias The theme of having a siren song of your inner demons calling you and learning to embrace them instead of fear them CLEARS ‘I still love you even if you betrayed me’ by a long shot. The instrumental for Disease is imo vastly superior too. It’s like she embodied all the best parts of Nine Inch Nails and gave it her own spin, where Judas is just trying to re-do Bad Romance with more grit. The guitars in Disease go so damn hard. I can’t even move my fingers and forearms remotely as fast as those boys are shredding on that record. Judas is a great song but it loses momentum in the chorus for me. Disease builds momentum throughout, even gives you a minute to breathe in the bridge, and just consumes you entirely in the end. Her vocals on Disease are insane. The demonic harmonies, the screams in the background, the groaning, that bridge where we’ve never even heard her sing like that before. It comes from the gut, every second of it. There’s more subtly on Disease in its mastery where Judas feels like it’s trying too hard to be brash and controversial. I’m still in love with Judas, baby, but Disease is easily my preferred song. If she released Judas yesterday I’d still pick Disease. It ain’t bias, babes.
