That’d have been a killer collab but even if Michael was still alive I think she’d have recorded it with R. Kelly. Gaga wanted a provocative feature, just for being controversial.

MJ would've still been a provocative figure to record that song with, because of the allegations and his very public existence

That was me, and I still firmly believe that

Yes! I can hear his vocals so clearly on the track and it would be beyond perfect. Especially if he sang the verse from the Christina version. It would probably be my fav song of Gaga’s career.

Don’t let the Beyhive hear this omg they already treat Gaga like dirt.

am I the only one that thinks Gaga is a better artist than Beyonce and people are just afraid of her fans but in reality Gaga is technically the reason Beyonce even took an interest in pushing boundaries?

before Gaga, Beyonce LEGITIMATELY was kind of generic. (SUPER TALENTED, but generic.)

even Beyonce has repeatedly said Gaga is the only one she ever considered on her level.

hunny this isnt 2011 anymore. Both artist are on the same level. No one is above over another. We gotta stop this comparison and I AM THE ONLY BEST MENTALITY.

and stop calling ur opinion as facts

Someone that knows about AI and music needs to come up with an edit and switch R. Kelly's vocals for MJ pls.

Edit: Nvm I was just thinking about R. Kelly's verses and I can't picture MJ singing that. Maybe Christina's verses or Gaga's solo version with his vocals would make more sense.

Aw to think he listened to Just Dance or Pokerface, maybe even seen the music videos. Gaga’s dedication always pays off

He was working with RedOne around 2008, he played Poker Face for MJ and MJ said it was "written by a genius".

They definitely would have worked together in some capacity BUT as a hardcore MJ stan I have to tell y'all he would have picked Bey over anyone :icant:

He used to be invited to Jay-Z's parties and get tipsy and ask where she was 'cause they would flirt with each other. He was crushing hard on her. Respectfully, of course. But he adored her.

Nooooo look at B'Day being a visual album. The visuals themselves. The bigness of the music. If anything, I think Gaga basically arrived as the only artist that Beyonce could actually collab with in the same level of visual and camp ambition. I think Gaga's has always been a bit more clowny and out-sized, but let's be honest with ourselves, Beyonce been on the theatrical game. She just did it with a level of earnestness, femininity, traditional beauty, and polish that I think Gaga eschewed early on. She loved feeling scrappy and messy and rock n roll meanwhile Beyonce was all glamor and elegance, but like her Grammy debut had her perform with a live dove inside a picture frame of a staged portrait. Like she's been doing over the top visual art, but i think Gaga made her feel like she wasn't the only one doing it and truly gave her someone to draft off of in the female pop space.

To be fair, with MJs allegations/accusations this would’ve been just as, if not more, controversial in addition to being sonically superior.

Omg I didn’t know that, thank you for sharing   I’m sure Michael would be so proud to see how far Bey and Gaga have gone in their careers

Now…serious question, have you been cryogenically frozen the last 40 years or is there some other explanation you have for not knowing about Michael’s allegations? :laughga:
