Because the bangs back then were like an inch thick, straight cut with kitchen scissors, and so long they were touching her lash line   her wigs now are.. too professional to have that same look. I mean they could do it but I don't think they want to

These where the first performances i saw of her back in highschool This and the miss universe performance made me STAN it was love at first sight

i loved when she did the electronic songs like that instead of the live band rock versions she does nowadays.

and also that WIG damn so iconic, she never wore bangs like that ever, ARTPOP was close but idk, the tan, lashes, nude lip and thick bangs never truly came back 🥀

My thing with this aesthetic is that I think it really only works through the lens of “Alien trying to look like Paris Hilton,” but otherwise, I honestly don’t fw with the bronzer et al lol. Love it for what she was trying to do at the beginning of her career thematically and aesthetically, pretty happy she’s relegated it to the dustbin in terms of inspo for future looks.

It was, but I think she was purposefully taking it to the extreme à la a drag queen playing a bleached blonde popstar (and that sensibility is honestly the only thing I think is forgivable about the aesthetic choice lmao).
