Madonna has no decent hit since like Hard Candy (2008) if it answers the question

She has a predictable formula when she wants to make a comeback (AGAIN) she either makes controversy or when that doesn’t work she collabs with hot young artists. And if that fails she then goes on basically ANOTHER greatest hits tour and her old gay fans keep her going as a touring legacy act.

If she REALLY wanted that hit she’d swallow her pride and ask Gaga to work together (although I bet you any money she already did back during the ASIB era) because you KNOW that’d be the collab that breaks real records for the headlines alone 

 

She's done 2 greatest hits tours, and neither came at times she was trying to make a comeback. (In fact most rumours were that the Celebration tour was intended as an unofficial farewell tour). 

And honestly, the Gaga x Madonna fued is such old news now (nearly 15 years old) that you are drastically over estimating how many people would care.

2bh this version of the curse came delayed with how meh her music has been after Reputation   if it weren't for the scamy ways of salss she'd have it a lot worse.

That's not really true.. she's had only Celebration tour and The reinvention tour (thought that had quite a few American Life songs, kinda sad it didn't get an actual tour) but other than that all her tours are heavily focused on the current album, a lot more than Gaga's recent tours :p

I wonder if Madonna is still a big supporter of Israel. She held several concerts in Tel Aviv while in some other first world countries she hasn’t toured in a very long time. Curious to see how political, or not, she will get during the album rollout and promo. Again she is clinging onto new fresh pop girls to get streaming numbers up instead of just focusing on creating a great record.

Her tours always promotes her latest album first and feature most of the songs of it, the Madame X Tour even had more songs from Madame X than previous hits.

You can compare Madonna with the latest tours of other singers that had long careers and many hits (like Kylie Minogue and Cher) and see how different they do their setlists
