To me it seems like something to get people to buy her book or is highly embellished to make gaga look bad. I mean, just because I like Gaga doesn't mean I can't accept that another person felt crossed or slighted by her. I don't think it's that much of a stretch for someone to say they felt offended by an exchange? Nothing to do with Gaga's "behavior" patterns or whatever, it's just someone talking about a moment that didn't sit right with them.

It's just weird timing that makes it seem inauthentic to me, also it wasn't directly written by liza, so the author could be doing alot of "paraphrasing" here and this happened years ago and she's only now saying something about it? It also just doesn’t make sense. Her and Gaga met a long time ago and had a nice exchange literally on video, so it’s kinda of weird that she would say “I’m a big fan” to Gaga as if she was meeting her for the first time.

Ngl even if it is true, no shade, but I don’t really see Gaga acting that way without good reason. I could be wrong (and I love Liza DOWN), but older people are very prideful about their capabilities (or lack thereof) so it wouldn’t surprise me if Liza was doing worse than she’s letting on here and is choosing to outsource her frustration to the person who was trying to manage the situation. The “I’m a big fan” thing, in the memoir, was followed by her saying her mother always taught her to be “gracious,” so I get the sense that she said it because she wanted to de-escalate the situation in a way that signaled that she respected Gaga (“Look, I’m a big fan, but…”) We have forgotten our public MANNERS

So again, what we are hearing is just what this Feinstein guy has wriiten. What I want to see is Liza looking into a camera and saying 'yes, that's what happened' or somebody (other than Feinstein) quoting what Liza said to them in an interview. There is footage on youtube of Liza singing in the taxi on the way to the event (unless of course it's AI) and she is pretty messy. I have no problem imagining tv people or Gaga looking at Liza and thinking 'oh s--t', but for the detail of what happened after that, including everything Liza said and did, I'm gonna need more than the Feinstein version.
