I've heard for a few years now that Liza was very unhappy when she took the stage with Gaga. I worship both women, but this feel likes delusion and is pretty unfair to Gaga. Thoughts?

I empathize with Liza here.

I would have been ****ing pissed by the circumstances too, & would have felt bitter, humiliated & infantalized.

LG's kindness & help, while genuine... would have compounded it, too

I highly doubt it was Gaga refusing to let Liza sit in a director's chair. I get being upset because it all had to feel so patronizing, but I feel like she's mad at the wrong person.

Gaga was maybe scared about her health and didn't wanted an accident to happens. 

There are ppl who sometimes have too much pride that they refuse to take some precautions. I know this damn well. 

I mean we do not have the full context.

I feel like this quoted very strangely. Every article I've seen reports it slightly differently so I'm sure it's not really what the quote is in the book. What I understand from it is that Liza was rightfully distressed by the situation and was in a bad mood but she tried to be kind nonetheless. But remember what happened when they were on stage. Liza said : i'm so happy here, especially with you, I'm your biggest fan and it sounded very sincere.

I get she is feeling bitter after being embarrassed in front of a big audience due to circumstances out of her control. But lashing out against someone who simply tried to help her in said moment is not a graceful thing to do. On the other hand, I see people being rude to those helping them daily at work all the time. The feeling of being powerless and/or at someone's mercy makes people feel exposed and weak, which eventually can culminate in aggressive behavior. Eh, whatever.

I don't see this as shade, though she did sound a bit pushy with the "play the hero" part. That being said, Lady Gaga saw she was struggling and wanted to support her. I don't think it's too bad, and I hope others don't see it this way because this was recognized as a very pretty moment on social media.
